Alanna loves reading all kinds of genres, especially mysteries, since getting introduced at a young age to Agatha Christie's Miss Marple and Tommy & Tuppence series.  Initially schooled in classic literature, she went on to get a business degree and pursue a marketing career in the biotech industry. She lives with her family in Nevada and Northern California, and  when she's not writing or working, she can be found trying to taste all kinds of cheese, plotting stories while hiking, and spoiling her cat.
